Old Cemetery Native Plant Garden
The Fringed Campion Chapter of the Georgia Native Plant Society has built a native plant garden at the Old City Cemetery in Downtown Macon. The project began with the beds around the arches and now a wildflower meadow has been planted in the adjoining field. Beyond the meadow, 8 native trees were planted. Funding was provided by the Community Foundation of Central Georgia for a Macon Downtown Challenge 2.0 project.
