2026 Scholarship Winners
High school Academic Scholarship winner: Rachel Manuel
Rachel Manuel is a high school senior from Perry High School. She holds a 4.0 GPA. Rachel is a member of the Drum Major of the Panthers Regiment Marching Band, District and Region Honor Band, Perry Youth Leadership, PHS Theatre Department, GHSA Literary Team, National Honor Society, Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Houston Recycling Initiative, and a Performing Arts Collaborative founding member. Her awards are Best supporting Performer at Georgia Theatre Conference, Georgia Governor’s Honors Program Finalist, Duo Performance Winner at Georgia Theatre Conference, Perry Chamber Student of the Month, Georgia Certificate of Merit, AP Scholar w/ Distinction, Honor Graduate, GA FBLA State Qualifier in Public Speaking, 3rd Place in Public Speaking at Regional FBLA Competition. Rachel attends Georgia Tech earning a degree in the field of medicine.
High school Academic Scholarship winner: A’mya Wynes
A’mya Wynes is a high school senior from ACE Academy (Academy for Classical Education). She holds a 3.6 GPA and is a founding member and Secretary of ACE Associated Study Body Club, French Club, Pep Club, Interact Club, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Healthcare Club, Tutoring Club, Girls in STEM, and also serves as Senior Media Manager. A’mya is also a cheerleader and a member of the track team and lastly, the National Beta Club. Her awards are the Academic Scholar Award (2022-2025), National Beta Club (2021-2024) and The Ramsey Financial Course Award (April 2022). A’mya will attend Alabama Honors College majoring in Biology, pursuing dermatology that will lead her to medical school.
